Long time no blog....

Hey all!
I haven't blogged in a while. I have been super busy. The format, or subject matter actually, of my blog may be changing. I may use this just to talk about projects I do. This may include my knitting, scrap-booking, and other crafts. so I thought I would talk about how I got into crafting. I may also make a video about this on my youtube channel. I have been thinking about making a crafting channel for a while too. Let me know what you think!
I have been doing crafts for a long time. Ever since I can remember actually. I'm not just talking about crafts you make in school... My grandma and I hung out a lot together when I was a kid. We don't see each other as often as I would like anymore. I love her more than anything in the world.
Anywho, I think the first craft we did was stamping cards. My grandmother [or Nana as i like to call her] is very good at it. She hasn't stamped in a while. A lot of her stamps are from the early 90's until the early 2000's. it's fun now for me to explain clear stamps and acrylic blocks to her... oh Nana.
She has been crafty her whole life. She loves one thing the most it seems, sewing. I have quilt after quilt from her and I love them all. I tried to sew a few times and it hasn't really worked out. The machine kind of freaks me out. She bought me one when i turned 10 and I never used it. I do make pillows out of old tee shirts but she sews most of it for me. I do the whipstich part at the end, not very well I might add.
I have gotten into making ribbon flowers and I am trying to perfect that but it isn't going well. Oy!
Scrapbooking has been my focus these days. I have only made a few but they are fun. I tried to finish my first one in 9th grade and it didn't end well. I should have done a smaller one.
Anyways, I am going to go do school stuff and maybe a bit of crafting. good times.
